Police investigate reported robbery at Community Bank


DELMAR, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Bethlehem Police Department is investigating a reported bank robbery at the Community Bank on Delmar Avenue. A suspect is believed to have received $4,000 cash from the bank.

Police say the bank alarm went off on Thursday morning. When units arrived, bank employees reported a robbery had just occurred, and the suspect had fled in a vehicle towards the City of Albany.

The suspect allegedly was a male wearing a mask. Employees say he handed the teller a note requesting money. Investigations are ongoing.
