Man with possibly abducted child sought by Arvada police


DENVER (KDVR) — Arvada police are searching for a 37-year-old man after multiple people called 911 for a reported child in distress.

According to the Arvada Police Department, multiple callers reported seeing a child in distress, described as a 10- 13-year-old female with shoulder-length, tangled dark blonde or brown hair.

The driver is believed to be Jason 37-year-old Jason Lujan, police said. He is approximately 5’10” and approximately 180 pounds, according to police, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Lujan was seen driving a tan/gold 1998 Honda Accord with the Colorado license plate number BCF-A62 and a missing hood.

This tan/gold 1998 Honda Accord is a suspect vehicle in a possible kidnapping case, according to Arvada police.

Officers said they spotted the vehicle in Arvada and Wheat Ridge near Pecos Street and Thornton Parkway, but the driver eluded officers.
