Santa Rosa PD looking for missing at-risk elderly man

(KRON) – The Santa Rosa Police Department is looking for an at-risk elderly person who went missing Monday. 

On Feb. 12, the Santa Rosa Police Department was alerted of an elderly man who drove away from his residence in the 5000 block of Montogomery Drive between 12 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The elderly man’s name is William Gunther. He is 101 years old. Gunther is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds. Gunther has white hair.

Gunther is at risk due to his age and declining health, as well as mental health issues.

The vehicle Gunther was last seen driving was a white 2018 Subaru Legacy with a California license plate. The plate number is 8CWR708.

According to police, Gunther could be driving to the area of Goat Rock Beach in Jenner.  The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office and the California State Parks Police have been notified.
